Nicknames: Quebie (kwe-bee) Rae

Bio: Rae was found on May 20, 1980. (That's was the first Québec referendum)
She is the daughter of Matthew Williams/Canada.
Rae has a curl, that looks alot like her father's. Her curl moves, but it usually sits lazily on the left side of her head. Her curl is her e-zone, but it get in her face alot so she tends to bobby-pin it back, or wear a knitted berret over it. Her hair reaches her shoulders, and it's slighly straighter than her papa's. Her hair is the same colour as Matthew's, and her eyes are Red-Violet.
Rae, being Matt's daughter, is also occasionally forgotten.
-Mostly, people forget whose daughter she is, and sometimes people try to send her home with Alfie.
-Also her voice is almost as quiet as her fathers. She only raises her voice when she feels it's necessary.
-People also often mispronounce her name calling her Rachel. She has given up trying to correct them. That's one of the reasons she goes be Rae.
-She also has trouble with her dad's polar bears name. No one ever told her his name, so she just calls him Kumakuma or Kuma bear. Kumajiro has no problem remembering who Quebie is.
Rae's best friedn is Romeo Vargas, AKA Seborga. The two are close in physical age and they both know what it's like to be forgotten and how hard it is to become your own nation. Also, Rae is kinda Tomboy-ish andRo is kinda girly, so sometimes they act stupid together and wear dresses or do eacother's hair. Also, Rae was one of the few people who supported Romeo's relationship with Viktor Braginski, Chernobyl.

Rae speaks with a Quebecois accent. She speaks both English and French fluently. AS well as German and sometimes Cree and Italian
She believes she came out of a cabbage.
She is the only female in her family, and doesn't understand why some people think is weird that she has no mother.
Québec got her independence on May 20, 2125, though she is part of the commonwealth and in many ways still part of Canada. In schools they still sing O, Canada.
After independence, Quebec's economy is slightly unstable. As a result Rae suffers from asthma.
Rae always carrys a dagger named Bessy, on her person, at all times. She also has a sword called Arora she likes to keep with her, but sometimes has to leave at home for reasons.
Rae's greates fears are Pyrophbia and Monophobia; the fear of fire and the fear of being alone. Rae has had nighmares about the burning of York, London, The whit hous, and Jean D'Arc, and she is terrified someday something or someone precious to her will be set alight as well.


From 2000-christmas 2033, Rae dated Ivan, much to her family's discontent. After that she started dating Lovino on her B-day, 2046.
Even after they broke up, Rae and Ivan remained close friends.
On new year 2199-2200, at exactly midnight, Lovino proposed to Rae. They both knew it would be almost imposible for them to get married(because they're in two differant continents). Despite that, Rae accepted because she loves Lovino alot, and would like to marry him if she could.

Rae actually does have her own framillier. Just as her papa has Kumajiro, Rae has a small snake named Tempête Québécois, nicknamed Storm. Storm has the ability of speech, but is painfully shy. Only Rae knows she even exists. She manifests as a tattoo of a snake or Rae's left wrist.

Despite her colourful laguage, and the fact thet she is always carrying around a sword, Rae is actuall a super-pacifist. She is willing to fight in order to protect her family, but other than that, she won't ever fight. She refuses to touch guns and never wants to be involved in any kind of war.

Rae really likes kids. Not in a pedophilac way. She jusr really likes taking care of kids. Once Quebec became it's own country, the nickname she was given by tourist was "The mother of the world" because of all the differant cultures that she has. Because of this, she has a bad habit of calling everyone "bebe", and refering to herself as "mommy". Sometimes, if a nation is misbehaving, she will go into what is called "mommy mode", in which she thinks she is said nations mother and will send them to their room or disiplin them in some other way. this if very amusing to the nations not being disipined and terribly embarrasing for Rae.

speech:
Rae hs the same verbal tic as her papa, saying "Eh" every so often. Mostly she just says it at the end of a question.
Rae suffers from panic attacks on occasion. When she panics, she often stops breathing.
Rae swears. Alot.


Dress: Québec never fought in a war, so she is never in a military uniform. At the world conference, Rae wears a blazer and pencil skirt, and ties up her hair in a high ponytail. Her casuel dress is decribed a some kind of punk Mafia, as well as leave her hair down. Ever since she was nine, Rae dyes part of her hair blue once a month. For her independace, Rae got a fleur-de-lis tatoo apeared on the back of her neck. One can only see it when her hair is tied up. Rae acually hates dresses but wears them when she must.

Abilities: Rae is just a normal nation other than a few small things.
-because Rae is related to Arthur, she can see ghosts and spirits. No one knows exept Lovino.
Somehow Rae is pyrokinetic. no one knows how or why.

Also there is a theory that Rae does have another parent, Gilbert. This is becaus Matthew and Gilbert dated for sevral years, until East Germany was under Russian control, so Gil was forced to live in Moscow. When he finally retuned to his brother, he was too broken to talk to anyone or even eat or sleep. he finnaly was ready to go back out into the world in 2009, but by then Rae was 29. Also, her eyes have more red in them than Canada's, making them Red-Violet, and she sometimes speaks German with out knowing, like she does with French sometimes.
Even though no one knows if he really is her second dad, she treats him like he is and in 2020 she agreed to start calling him "Vati". She and Ludwig have a slighly awkward relaionship, because he dosn't know how to be an uncle. In the end they decide to try being friends first, wich is kinda weird since they each dating one of the Italies.

- Since Britain is half angel, The NA twins 1/4 angel. sadly, the actul angel powers skipped their generation. Canada's invisibility and America's super strength are because they have angel DNA, but no actuel angel powers.
